Lego Minifigure Cake

Honestly, I am a little surprised that this is my first lego cake.
With how much my son loves legos, it is absolutely astonishing.

Note the smaller legos, they are the edible, stackable kind.  So glad I found them!

Note also the expression.

Kitty

I really didn't want to do another Hello Kitty cake.  I've done 2, that's enough.

This cake is to celebrate a graduation from
the University of Utah.

I was ever so tempted to put something blue on it.

But Sara Jane would have killed me.

It's even red velvet cake on the inside!!!

Mini Pink Flower Cascade

I really like doing baby shower cakes.  They usually don't have a theme (which are also fun) like birthday cakes and are not limited in color like most wedding cakes.  Instead, you get a color scheme and the freedom to do whatever you want.

I decided to do the mini flower cascading down from the top of the cake.

The effect is very sweet.  It makes me think someone dropped a bunch of tiny flowers on top of the cake.
