Bugs Bugs Bugs!!!

This cake was done for my sister-in-law's baby shower. She is due in July and we are all very excited to meet her little boy.

We decided to do a bug theme, so here is my interpretation of said theme.

I really love my new cake stand too.

The rock bugs are also my creation. I really should have taken more close-ups of them.

Now I know this looks a lot like the one I just posted, but give me a break, I had a lot of cakes this weekend.

And in this cake's defense, it was made first...and it's bigger.

These are my very simple flowers for a very simple cake.

This is also a very small cake, 6" base and about 8" tall.

I really like the colors.
